Who am I?

I’m a Graphic Designer with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a minor in Creative Writing. In design, I especially love typesetting, writing body copy, and working with patterns. I play around with physical media forms in addition to digital and really
enjoy painting. My creative writing minor that has allowed me a lot of freedom in writing body
copy for projects and internship work.

I have two years of design internship experience with the Cancer Center at Illinois and the McKinley Health Center in addition to 5 years being in graphic design.

I’m often inspired by my many interests; including cinema, music, gaming, reading, writing, and nature. I always work best with music or some kind of background media–especially if it’s one of
my favorite movies.

I’m always excited to dive into new projects and I always bring my best to the table whether doing individual or group work. It really hits me sometimes that I’m lucky enough to have family and friends that support me in pursuing what I love to do. Designing, writing, and really just being an overall nerd. They’ve helped fuel my passion and love for design and it’s only grown stronger the more I learn and grow in my field.

“I don’t know where I’m going from
here, but I promise I won’t bore you.”
